Mario Dodovski Resort 2013

Extremely late with posting this, I've definitely neglected my blog when it comes to sharing my work, but better late than never no?
Here is my Resort 2013 collection, finished and posted on my facebook profile.. probably more than 3 months ago. Currently working on Spring/Summer 2013 one (going slower because of college) but it surely will be finished until New Year's Eve.

Inspiration

"Sometimes passion can be hidden. It doesn't have to be dramatically shown to the public, which is what I did with my passion for design for this resort collection. Using clean, crisp and almost clinically stiff shapes throughout the whole collection I released a ton of passion - but this time via prints. Whoever has come across Claire Streetart's graffiti of couples passionately kissing slammed all over Parisian walls will get the point. Her work is passionate enough that I needed a clean surface to paste it on. This resort collection consists of 12 pieces including wide cigarette pants, several mini dresses as well as signature capes and asymmetrical skirts. The color palette features all basic colors with not much of shading, all staying true to Claire's real grafitti. I've decided to show the outfits with minimal accessorizing which only includes summer sandals and several pairs of must-have sunglasses."

*NOTE* The graffiti printed on the clothes belong to Claire Streetart. I do not own the rights for them. This collection has been produced for the sake of art, and I do not make any money out of it. All you see is pixels.

Don't forget to leave your comments in the comment box below and express your opinion about the collection.

Your resort collection is neat and chic, everything that I adore! I especially like looks #2, 3, 7 and 12. Your white mini dresses are gorgeous.

I use Adobe Illustrator for the outlines and then I color and shade everything in Photoshop.
